PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for applying an agrochemically active component for horticultural crops, capable of saving labor simply as compared with that of conventional application methods. SOLUTION: This method for applying an agrochemically active component for the horticultural crops, etc., is characterized by locally applying a non-water soluble paper sheet containing the agrochemically active ingredients having a penetrative transferring property for each one of young seedlings of the horticultural crops at a position easily utilizable for the roots of the young seedlings.
