PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a towing pen which quickly moves a towing vessel to a fishing ground and secures a regular shape of a pen net during towing. SOLUTION: The towing pen 1A is equipped with the pen net 2, a towing rope 8 for connecting the pen net 2 to the towing vessel, a plurality of first floats 3 and a rope-like sinker 7. The plurality of the first floats 3 are extended in the direction perpendicular to the towing direction TD, respectively, arranged at fixed intervals in the towing direction TD and set on the surface 2d of the pen nets 2, respectively. Consequently, before arriving at a fishing ground, the towing pen 1A is shrunk in the towing direction TD and the depth direction DD and folded. During towing, the pen net 2 can be extended in a desired shape by the towing tension, the tensions of the first floats 3 and the force of gravity of the sinker 7. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
