A medium, such as a card, placed on a stage is recognized by a dot pattern printed on the rear surface of the medium, and a touch of a player on the front surface of the medium is also permitted to be recognized. An input instruction in accordance with each characteristic of a game and an information processing device can be given only by preparing the card whereupon a region for performing touch operation is printed, since the medium, such as the card, placed on the stage is recognized by the dot pattern printed on the rear surface, the touch of the player on the front surface of the medium is permitted to be recognized, and which part of the card placed on the stage is touched is calculated based on the both recognition results and processing corresponding to the characteristics of the card is performed. |
