<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device capable of controlling a variable gear ratio by a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: This steering device is provided with a torsion bar 3 provided between a steering wheel 5 and a steering mechanism 6 to transmit power and turn resistance generated when twisting into spring force, an electric motor 7 for driving the steering mechanism 6, a first steering angle detection means 1 for detecting a steering angle of the steering wheel 5, a second steering angle detection means 2 for detecting an actual steering angle of the steering mechanism 6, a target steering angle setting means 10 for setting a target steering angle corresponding to the steering angle detected by the first steering angle detection means 1, and an actual steering angle controlling means 12 for controlling the electric motor to let the actual steering angle detected by the second steering angle detection means 2 agree with the target steering angle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
