PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a method and a device for forming a tooth part on a deformed and precisely blanked pot-shaped object which is deformed and precisely punched so that a tool is more compactly formed because the precision blanking of the tooth part can be used economically by simultaneous increase in dimensional stability of the tooth part and treating time is raised by the omission of heat treatment even when the precision blanking of the tooth part can be used for rotationally symmetric object such as a joint hinge tool. SOLUTION: The tooth part in the edge part of the pot-shaped object is entirely formed by cutting or grinding by precision blanking stamp or grinding means and burrs and scraps generated when cutting or grinding are carved into recesses related to the tooth part in the base part of the pot-shaped object.
