PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microchip of simple constitution and in which a catalyst can be banked up in a flow passage. SOLUTION: The microchip is provided with: the catalyst to be packed in a minute flow passage; and a substrate formed with liquid inflow ports at both ends of the minute flow passage and a liquid outflow port having the diameter smaller than the minimum diameter of the catalyst.
