PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terrestrial digital broadcast recording system in which recording of a program can be immediately instructed from a portable device for partially receiving terrestrial digital broadcast to a fixed type terrestrial digital broadcast recording apparatus. SOLUTION: A terrestrial digital broadcast receiver (100) which partially receives terrestrial digital broadcast comprises an acquisition section (106) for acquiring information of a program receivable by the receiver (100), and a communication section (108) which performs communication between the receiver(100) and an external terrestrial digital broadcast recording apparatus (200A). The communication section (108) transmits to the terrestrial digital broadcast recording apparatus (200A) a recording request signal indicating information of which the recording is instructed, among pieces of information acquired by the acquisition section (106).
