PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor in which the burden of white balance correction is reduced by reducing the computational complexity when the white balance correction is performed. SOLUTION: In the image processing method for performing the white balance correction on the R gain and B gain of an image signal outputted from an image sensor, a locus curve corresponding to a color temperature is approximated to a linear expression intersecting the locus curve at least at two points on an XY coordinate plane having coordinate axes of the R gain and B gain, and then white balance correction of the R gain and B gain is performed using the linear expression.
