PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game system using a new announcement mode capable of making a player have a sense of expectancy for the shift of the game state. SOLUTION: The game system 1 comprises a game machine 10 and a game server 500. The game machine 10 comprises a CPU 66 for executing a lottery and a game, a liquid crystal display device 32, a display control circuit 250, a sound output device 300, a subordinate CPU 206, and a program ROM 208. The main CPU 66 executes a lottery for shifting the game state. The program ROM 208 stores a specific relation between the stopping/display mode of identification information and a sound output pattern. The display control circuit 250 controls the display of the identification information by the stopping/display mode with the specific relation. The subordinate CPU 206 controls the transmission of the sound output pattern with the specific relation. The game server 500 comprises a server interface 560, a speaker 532, and a server control circuit 510.
