PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To independently drive a plurality of lens groups by using a single driving source. SOLUTION: A driving unit of a lens barrel has a first optical system (1); and a second optical system (2) for imaging a subject image onto an image plane in combination with the first optical system. Further, the driving unit includes a first driving mechanism (4) for driving the first optical system; a second driving mechanism (5) provided independently of the first driving mechanism for driving the second optical system; a motor (6) that generates power; and a branch (7) that always transmits to each of the first and second driving mechanism, by diverging the power that the motor has generated.
