PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice coil motor type focusing actuator capable of enhancing focusing accuracy and lowering a failure rate. SOLUTION: A fixed mount unit includes a fixed frame 20 and four magnets M, and the fixed frame 20 is metallic formed substance covered with plastic injection molding, then the magnets M are respectively installed inside the fixed frame 20. A movable mount unit is provided in the fixed frame 20 and includes a lens attaching barrel 30 inside which a lens is provided and a coil 40 installed on the outside. A load cover unit 80 is used to attach the fixed mount unit. Two elastic members 50 elastically support the fixed mount unit and the movable mount unit. The lens attaching barrel 30 can accurately slide, whereby the focusing accuracy is enhanced and the failure rate is lowered. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
