PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a herbicide composition which comprises a mixture of two known herbicidal ingredients and can efficiently control various injurious weeds, and to provide a herbicide for beet. SOLUTION: This herbicide composition is characterized by comprising metamitron and alachlor as active ingredients, and the herbicidal method uses the herbicide composition.
