PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet carrying device with a double feed detector for reliably detecting the double feed of sheets being carried, and to provide a document carrying device and an image processor equipped therewith. SOLUTION: The sheet carrying device 1b comprises a feed tray 11, a pickup roller 61, a feed roller 63, a sorting roller 64, a carriage 66a, a resist roller 67, a discharge roller 73, a passage detecting sensor 69, a double feed detecting sensor 68, and a second detector 71. Recording sheets are fed out of the feed tray 11 via the pickup roller 61 according to a printing instruction given by a user. The recording sheets pass through the feed roller 63, the sorting roller 64, the carriage 66a, and the passage detecting sensor 69 to the resist roller 67.
