PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular air conditioner capable of reducing the width of temperature fluctuation, restricting deterioration of durability of a compressor clutch. SOLUTION: The vehicular air conditioner comprises a blower, an evaporator, an evaporator temperature detecting means for detecting blow-off air temperature of the evaporator, and a compressor driven by rotary power of an engine through a clutch to suck refrigerant on an outlet side of the evaporator for compression. The vehicular air conditioner, in the case wherein the temperature detected by the evaporator temperature detecting means is lower than the OFF side target temperature, turns off the clutch to stop the compressor, and in the case wherein the temperature detected by the evaporator temperature detecting means is higher than the ON side target temperature, turns on the clutch to operate the compressor. The vehicular air conditioner changes a temperature difference between the ON side target temperature and the OFF side target temperature in response to at least one of a result of detection by a detecting means for detecting the temperature outside the cabin, a result of detection by a detecting means for detecting engine speed, and content of the flow control of the blower by a flow control means.
