Binding support plate comprises a supporting body (19) having a distal end for receiving jaw bodies (5, 6) or guiding rails (15, 16) for the jaw bodies of a binding unit and a lower side for placing on the upper side of a board-like sliding device, and units for fixing the supporting body to the upper side of the sliding device using screws. A central region (32) of the supporting body has a lower inherent stability compared with both end regions (12, 13).
