A process for catalytic converting a hydrocarbon feed includes the follow ing steps: catalytic cracking the hydrocarbon feed in a reactor by contactin g with a catalyst system, and fractionating the reaction product from the re actor to obtain low carbon olefins, gasoline, diesel, heavy oil and other lo w molecular saturated hydrocarbons. The catalyst system comprises 1-60wt% ze olite mixture, 5-99wt% refractory inorganic oxide and 0-70wt% clay, based on the total weight of the catalyst. The zeolite mixture includes 1-75wt% beta zeolite modified by phosphorus and transition metal M, 25-99wt% zeolite wit h MFI structure and 0-74wt% large pore size zeolite based on the total weigh t of the zeolite mixture. The anhydrous composition of the beta zeolite modi fied by phosphorus and transition metal M expressed as a weight percentage b ased on oxide is given by: (0-0.3) Na2O·(0.5-10) Al2O3·(1.3-10) P2O5·(0.7-15 ) MxOy·(64-97) SiO2, wherein M is selected from the group consisting of Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Mn, Zn and Sn, x represents the molecular number of M, and y rep resents the number needed for the oxidation state of M. The process for cata lytic converting hydrocarbons of this invention can achieve enhanced ability of converting hydrocarbons, and increased yield of low carbon olefins, espe cially increased yield of propylene. |
