<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety by taking prohibiting measures to prohibit use of articles subjected to sterilization if the sterilization target articles which require sterilization such as endoscopes and surgical instruments are not washed or sterilized. <P>SOLUTION: A sterilization management system is equipped with the sterilization target article 2 which has a storage means 15 that enables noncontact communication and has a memory into which data is rewritten, a sterilizing apparatus 3 for sterilizing the article 2, and an target 1 of use in which the sterilization target article is used. The sterilizing apparatus has a first read and write means 19 which writes data showing that the sterilization is performed into the storage means 15 when the sterilizing apparatus performs the sterilization on the sterilization target article and reads the data. The object of use is equipped with a second read and write means 8 which reads and writes the data of the storage means and prohibiting measure executing parts 6, 9, 13 which take the prohibiting measures to prohibit the sterilization target articles from being used for the object of use when the data read by the second read and write means is determined that the sterilization target article is not sterilized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
