<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a panoramic imaging device so that the whole device is constituted so as not be bulky and, to prevent the complication of image processing processes in a panoramic imaging device. <P>SOLUTION: The panoramic imaging device is provided with an optical lens array in which optical lenses are integrally formed with three rows by three columns, a solid-state imaging device 3 and a prism which performs the mirror reflection of light beams from right and left areas of a subject angle to guide them to optical lenses (side lenses) at right and left columns. A light beam from a center area of the subject angle is focused as an image turned upside down on the solid-state imaging device 3 by an optical lens (center lens) at a center column, and the light beams from the right and left areas of the subject angle are focused as images of which the four directions are reversed by the prism and the side lens on the solid-state imaging device 3. For images "L", "R" of the right and left areas, image information is read forward (s1, s3, s4, s6) and for an image "C" in a front area, image information is read backward (s2, s5). For the read image information, reversal processing, etc. is not performed, and a side edge is joined as it is and reproduced in a panoramic image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
