ENZYME ELECTRODE, FUEL CELL EQUIPPED WITH IT, AND ENZYME SENSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an enzyme electrode capable of obtaining high voltage and high current density; to provide a fuel cell equipped with the enzyme electrode and having high performance; and to provide an enzyme sensor.

SOLUTION: The enzyme electrode is equipped with an electrode, an oxidoreductase, and an electron transfer mediator mediating electron transfer between the electrode and the oxidoreductase, and as the prosthetic group of the oxidoreductase, pyrroloquinoline quinone (PQQ) is used, and the electron transfer mediator is an osmium complex in which at last one bidentate ligand comprising bipyridyl amine or a bipyridyl amine derivative (Ra to Ri are H or a substituent) represented by formula (1) is coordinated with osmium.
