<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bottle container which can keep the weight reduced by making the thickness of the cylindrical body section thinner and the handleability improved by preventing the diametrically outward expanding deformation of the body section by the rising of the internal pressure from occurring. <P>SOLUTION: This bottle container 10 is molded by biaxially draw-blow-molding a thermoplastic synthetic resin, and has the cylindrical body section 11. In the bottle container 10, the average thickness in the body section 11 is set to be not more than 0.35 mm.
