摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid state imaging apparatus having high sensitivity and high resolution with no shading without using a color filter and an on-chip micro-lens, and to provide an electronic information apparatus, in which the solid state imaging apparatus as an image input apparatus is used in the imaging unit. <P>SOLUTION: Each solid-state imaging element having two light-receiving units 111, 112 laminated in the depth direction of a semiconductor substrate 101 is periodically arranged in a direction of substrate plane. Out of electromagnetic waves of the incident light, an electromagnetic wave of a wavelength region corresponding to the depth of each light-receiving unit is detected by each light-receiving unit 111, 112 through the wavelength dependence of an optical absorption factor in semiconductor substrate material, and the signal charge is generated so that isolation detection of the electromagnetic wave with wavelength different in each light-receiving unit 111, 112 can be carried out. Wiring layers 141-143 for transferring the signal charge from each light-receiving unit 111, 112 and transistors of a required number are arranged on the side opposite to the incidence side of the electromagnetic wave, so light is not kicked on the optical path because of these wiring layers 141-143, and it is not necessary to make light condensed at the light-receiving unit using an on-chip micro-lens. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p>
