<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balloon dilator and a balloon dilator system which allow a balloon to be contracted so as to shift to treatment after this quickly even when the balloon is dilated to have a diameter larger than the outer diameter of the insertion part of an endoscope. <P>SOLUTION: The balloon dilator is provided with a cylindrical hood 11 having nearly the same outer diameter as that of the insertion part 3 of the endoscope 5. On the side face of the hood 11, a semi-compliance-type first balloon 6 to which a fluid is injected and whose diameter is expanded outward in the direction of its diameter with respect to the hood 11 is arranged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
