PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for supporting a power unit, which structure can secure a required collision performance for an offset collision without relying upon the reinforcement of a vehicle body. SOLUTION: In a vehicle body front structure 10 to which the structure for supporting the power unit has been applied, both ends of the power unit 25 in the direction of the vehicle width are supported by front side members 12 via mount members 30. The front side and the rear side of the power unit 25 in the front and rear directions of the vehicle are supported by a front cross member 18 and a suspension member 20 via the mount members 30 respectively. Stoppers 48, 40 are provided on the front cross member 18 and the suspension member 20 respectively so as to restrict the displacement of brackets 36, 38, which hold the front and rear mount members 30, with respect to the vehicle body, when a turning force larger than a required value has been applied to the power unit 25 such that both ends of the power unit 25 in the direction of the vehicle width are moved to the opposite sides with respect to the front and rear direction of the vehicle body.
