PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic dressing grinding method and an electrolytic dressing grinding device capable of grinding a workpiece material by using a weak conductive or non-conductive grinding liquid and excellent in working efficiency. SOLUTION: The workpiece material W is continuously ground by repeating a working time to apply grinding on the workpiece material W and a non-working time by a grinding tool 20 installed on a honing tool body 11 while supplying a weak conductive or non-conductive grinding liquid at a working part I, and the grinding tool 20 is electrolytically dressed by applying a voltage on an electrode 37 and the grinding tool 20 facing each other by making a conductive liquid exist at an electrolytic dressing part II in the non-working time. It is possible to carry out stable quality grinding work by the grinding tool 20 using the weak conductive or non-conductive grinding liquid of an oily coolant, etc. and the excessive abrasion of the grinding tool 20 is suppressed. Additionally, it is possible to carry out electrolytic dressing in an extremely short period of time at the non-working time and to efficiently carry out it without an influence upon a working cycle.
