PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce an audio signal of high sound quality such that differences in bodily sensation effect due to individual differences in auditory characteristic are suppressed as much as possible by varying frequency characteristic of a high frequency range according to auditory characteristics of a user. SOLUTION: An audio signal processor includes a frequency analyzer which analyzes frequency characteristics of an input audio signal; a correction amount predicting unit which detects the tendency of the frequency characteristics analyzed by the frequency analyzer, and predicts a correction amount for the high frequency range; an auditory parameter setter 41 which can set an auditory parameter based upon the auditory characteristics of the user; an auditory sensitivity corrector 40 which corrects the correction amount predicted by the correction amount predicting unit with the auditory parameter set by the auditory parameter setter 41; and an equalizer 33 which corrects the frequency characteristics of an audio signal output from a high-frequency-range interpolation processing unit 32 based upon the correction amount output from the auditory sensitivity corrector 40.
