PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To insulate lead members buried in a brush holder surely from each other and to reduce the cost of the brush holder. SOLUTION: First and second lead boards 43 and 44 are provided with connector side terminals 43b and 44b projecting from the connector portion, surface side feeding terminals 43c and 44c projecting from one axial side of the holder body, and back side feeding terminals 43d and 44d projecting from the other axial side of the holder body. Connector side terminals 43b and 44b of the lead boards 43 and 44 are held by a slide die 54, the surface side feeding terminals 43c and 44c are held by a first molding die 52, the back side feeding terminals 43d and 44d are held by a second molding die 53, and the body portions 43a and 44a of the lead boards 43 and 44 are arranged in a molding chamber 55 while being held by a holding portion 56 provided in the second molding die 53, thus insert molding a brush holder where the connection port and the holder body are formed integrally through a coupling portion.
