PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active damper of novel structure a supporting rubber elastic body is hardly affected by heat due to energization of a coil member or the like. SOLUTION: The supporting rubber elastic body 20 is disposed to be housed in a base member 30 fixed on a member 18 to be controlled. The outer circumferential surface of the supporting rubber elastic body 20 is bonded to the cylindrical peripheral wall 36 of the base member 30. An electromagnetic vibrating means 16 is disposed outside the base member 30 on the opposite side to the supporting rubber elastic body 20 via the bottom wall 34 of the base member. An insertion hole 98 is provided in the bottom wall 34 of the base member 30. A coupling shaft 94 inserted into the insertion hole 98 and bonded to the central part of the supporting rubber elastic body 20 is formed in either of the coil member 12 and the yoke member 14 of the electromagnetic vibrating means 16.
