PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system capable of grasping an apparatus to which a network allocation vector is set. SOLUTION: When setting a network allocation vector NAV, a radio terminal device (STA21) notifies a radio base station (AP2) of setting notification information NN indicating that the network allocation vector NAV is to be set (step S4). Thus, the radio base station (AP2) is capable of grasping the radio terminal device (STA21) to which the network allocation vector NAV is set. When the setting notification information NN is accepted from the radio terminal device (STA21), the radio base station (AP2) then controls to preferentially transmit transmission data other than data destined to the radio terminal device (STA21) (steps S7-S10).
