PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve image quality without causing the skew or the jam of a medium during image processing. SOLUTION: The image processing unit is detachably arranged to a device body. The image processing device is provided with a first conveying member, a second conveying member abutted to the first conveying member, and a foreign matter removing part for removing a foreign matter adhered to the surface of the first conveying member. The first conveying member and the foreign matter removing part are supported by a case body of the image processing unit. The paper dust removing part is arranged in the image processing unit, and simultaneously replaced in the replacement of the image processing unit. Therefore, an operator is not required to periodically clean the paper dust removing part, or to remove paper dust. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
