PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planetary gear device having advantages compared to the conventional one in a little reaction force, simplicity of structure, and energy efficiency or the like. SOLUTION: The impact type screw fastening device gives the rotating force to a load by generating the impact by allowing an electric motor to be a rotation driving source and, a hammer to collide with an anvil. When the hammer is at the initial position to be separated from the anvil, the current I is supplied to the motor to rotate and accelerate the hammer in the normal direction at the time T1, and generate the impact by allowing the hammer to collide with the anvil. After the hammer collides with the anvil, the hammer is returned to the initial position by making the current i supplied to the motor zero at the time T2 and making such a state that the motor can be freely rotated or by reversing the motor by making the current i supplied to the motor in the reverse direction at the time T3, and the impact is continuously given to the load by repeating such an operation.
