PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery for an electric reel readily mounting a connection terminal of an electric cable. SOLUTION: The battery for the electric reel is equipped with a battery body and a first external electrode terminal 5 provided on the battery body. Furthermore, the first external electrode terminal 5 is equipped with a first engaging part 51 having≥30 mm length and a second engaging part 52 connected to one end of the first engaging part 51 at a prescribed angle and having≥3 mm length.
