<p>A method for using a set of ECC(error correction code) encoding/decoding circuit, generating a set of error correction code to protect the validity of data according to the data stream on data bus of a flash memory with various width (8/16/32/64 etc). The method includes: automatically doubling the ECC operating frequency according to the flash memory data width, cutting the time sequence of ECC and respectively processing a certain bit set on the data bus in every time sequence, so that the error check of information and encoding operation may be completed with a set of ECC without effecting the basic time sequence and framework of the data srames in controller.</p> |
