The unit (4) has a trigger module e.g. sequential triggering module and logical triggering module, where the triggering unit is designed in such a manner that a triggering mechanism e.g. triggering function and triggering process, is released during an operation of a laboratory unit (2). The triggering unit is designed in such a manner that the triggering unit works together with components (6, 8, 10, 12) of the laboratory unit. The laboratory unit is designed for distributing of signals, and for simulation of vehicle movement. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for testing of control unit software of a vehicle (2) a computer program with program codes for executing a method for testing a control unit software of a vehicle (3) a computer program product stored in a computer readable storage medium for executing a method for testing a control unit software of a vehicle.
