A compound as an anion receptor, an electrolyte containing the compound, an electrochemical cell containing the electrolyte, and a gel or solid type polymer electrolyte thin film prepared by using the electrolyte are provided to improve the ion conductivity and cation transfer property of an electrolyte. A compound as an anion receptor is represented by the formula 1, wherein R1 and R2 are independently H or an electron attracting group such as -SO2CF3, -CN, F, Cl, -COCF3 and -SO2CN and both R1 and R2 cannot be H; R3 is H or a cyano group; R5 and R6 are independently H or a methyl group; R7 are independently an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, a halogenated alkyl group, a halogenated alkenyl group, an alkanol group, a halogen atom, H or a hydroxyl group; Y and Z are independently O, S, CO, OCO, OCOO or COO; n is an integer of 1-1,000; o, p and q are an integer of 0-1,000; and r and s are an integer of 0-20 and r+s is 1 or more.
