PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic turn signalling device and a method of using the same. SOLUTION: In one embodiment, the device is equipped with (1) a navigation module with a map information database for defining a route to a predetermined destination and determining a position of a vehicle, and (2) an associated control module for automatically activating the vehicle's turn signal based on its position.
