PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle headlight control system automatically lighting or switching off the main light of the vehicle headlight according to the intention of a user. SOLUTION: When illumination at the periphery of the vehicle is lower than predetermined illumination and a vehicle speed is lower than a predetermined vehicle speed, a position of one's own vehicle detected by a position detector is previously registered in map data. It is determined whether or not the vehicle exists at "a place always required for lighting the main light of the headlight for the user" (step S270). Further, when it is determined that the one's own vehicle exists at a place corresponding to the place (step S270: yes), a control part is operated so that the main light of the headlight is not switched off.
