PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately match an imbalance position measured in a rotating state of a rotating element with a position of an object of a correction process when the rotating element stops. SOLUTION: The rotating element 1 couples a turbine wheel 2 with a compressor wheel 3 through a turbine shaft 4. The compressor wheel 3 is fixed to the turbine shaft 4 by using a magnetized nut 7 previously magnetized. The position and the quantity of the imbalance of the rotating element 1 are measured by using a reference as an orientation of a magnetic pole of the magnetized nut 7 measured by an orientation measuring head 12 provided with two magnetic sensors 13 in the rotating state of the rotating element 1. The position of the imbalance in the circumferential direction of the rotating element 1 is identified relative to a reference as the orientation of the magnetic pole of the magnetized nut 7 in a stopping state. The balance of the rotating element 1 is corrected by a cutter 14 for implementing a cutting process for the cut quantity corresponding to the quantity of the measured imbalance.
