PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce variation in stitch pitch by suppressing overrun while securing a pulling function of an object to be sewn and achieving a lightweight puller. SOLUTION: A metal rim 9 is inserted and fixed to a rotary shaft 7 of a driving puller 5, and is composed of split rims 9a, 9b, 9c, 9d or the like split in several rims in an axis direction. Each of the split rims 9a, 9b, 9c, 9d and so on is mounted in the rear of a plurality of needles 11 arranged with specified spaces so that the rims are moved/fixed freely in an axial direction relative to the rotary shaft 7. Thereby, total weight of the split rims 9a, 9b, 9c, 9d or the like is smaller than that of a conventional monolithic rim because of spaces formed between the adjacent split rims.
