PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice transplanter which has a mat chemical applicator, can change the posture of the mat chemical applicator, and can expand a distance between the mat chemical applicator and a seedling tray so that a worker or the like can easily maintain the seedling mats on the seedling tray. SOLUTION: This rice transplanter 100 comprising a travel portion 1, a planting portion 4 for planting the seedlings of seedling mats in fields, and a mat chemical applicator 10 for spraying a chemical to the seedling mats is characterized by longitudinally swingably supporting the lower end of a support frame 53 for supporting the mat chemical applicator 10 on the rear portion of the travel portion 1, and supporting a nozzle stay 51 for supporting the spraying portion 43 of the mat chemical applicator 10 at a place close to the support frame 53.
