<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a finger vein authentication input device for acquiring the vein pattern of a finger for authentication by near infrared light, the authentication device capable of increasing the quantity of incident light on the finger or a palm and reducing the dispersion of a finger placing position. <P>SOLUTION: The finger vein authentication input device is equipped with: a first light source provided on a position corresponding to the first joint of the finger when the finger is placed for irradiating the first joint with the near infrared light; a second light source provided on a position corresponding to the second joint of the finger when the finger is placed for irradiating the second joint with the near infrared light; an imaging part provided between the first light source and the second light source for imaging the vein pattern of the finger by the near infrared light; and a finger placing part in which a part corresponding to a fingertip is inclined downwards so that the first joint of the finger is bent when the finger is placed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
