PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a commutator base part using the resin of a rotor while avoiding loss of an air gap due to a printed wiring board, so that a commutator piece is directly assembled for low profile, and a sliding part is made thick for longer life. SOLUTION: The axial air-gap type rotor comprises a plurality of winding type air-core armature coils 3A arranged on one side of a printed wiring board 1, and a cylindrical commutator C arranged on the rotating center on the same side. The commutator comprises a plurality of commutator pieces 4 that are separated from each other by an alignment guide provided on a base part 2a and comprise a connection terminal part 4b integrally extended in axial direction from an arc-like sliding part 4a by way of a flat surface part 4c. The printed wiring board 1 comprises a terminal connecting land of a winding type air-core armature, and the tip of the connection terminal part 4b is embedded in a plurality of through holes 1a connected to the terminal connection land, for connection on the other side.
