PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the simple fixation of a substrate steel material such as a runner, and to solve a problem such as a variation in the height of a ceiling which is caused by the deflection of a beam material. SOLUTION: The runner fixing bracket 10 comprises a clip-like engaging fitting 11 which can be attached to a flange 41 of the beam material 40, and supporting bodies 12 and 13 which are integrated with the engaging fitting 11. Flat vertical jointing surfaces which are elongated in a vertical direction are formed on the supporting bodies 12 and 13, respectively. The runner fixing bracket 10 is attached to the flange 41 of the beam material 40 by means of the engaging fitting 11, and a long runner 45 for the ceiling is joined and fixed to the vertical jointing surface of the supporting body 13.
