PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a straight permanent treatment agent keeping soft feeling and collectability of hair severely damaged by hair coloring, bleaching, etc., and giving durable straight permanent treated hair. SOLUTION: The straight permanent treatment agent is produced by compounding (a) a protein composition having a molecular weight of 8,000-12,000 and containing a protein having an average molecular weight of 11,000 and a protein having an average molecular weight of 9,700 measured by gel filtration column chromatography and separated/purified from wool or human hair and (b) a silylated hydrolyzed protein derived from silk.
