VESSEL IDETIFICATION SYSTEM INTEROPERABLE WITH AIS AND TRS

A system for providing vessel positions based on AIS and TRS is provided to reduce marine collision accidents by servicing position information between vessels. A TRS(Trunked Radio System) repeating service unit(120) repeats first vessel traffic information including vessel positions using a TRS(110) with a GPS(Global Positioning System). A vessel traffic service(140) repeats second vessel traffic information transmitted from an AIS(Automatic Identification System). A vessel position information providing server(170) receives the first and second vessel traffic information, stores the received information, converts first and second extracting information into first and second converting data, and transmits the first and second converting data through the TRS repeating service unit and vessel traffic service, respectively.
