<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent element which has sufficient luminance, which has excellent stability and endurance, whose area can be enlarged, which can be easily manufactured, whose defects produced when the element is manufactured are few, and whose performance deteriorates little with time. <P>SOLUTION: In an organic electroluminescent element, at least one layer of organic compound layers comprises at least one kind of charge transporting polyester having a repeating unit containing at least one kind selected from a specific polydiaryl polyamine structure as a partial structure; the film thickness of the organic compound layer positioned at a side nearest to a positive electrode of the organic compound layer comprising charge transporting polyurethane is within a range equal to or more than 20 nm and equal to or less than 100 nm; and a negative electrode comprises a first layer comprising at least one kind selected from alkaline metal oxide, alkaline-earth metal oxide, alkali metal halide, and alkaline-earth metal halide, and a second layer comprising at least one kind selected from alkali metal and alkaline-earth metal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
