<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient system which can be adapted not only to an office environment but also to a POD environment. <P>SOLUTION: A printing system makes a display device indicate the jobs which are under being processed and wait for processing, and the job for which the processing is to be temporarily stopped among the indicated jobs is specified.
