PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring cell with which it is confirmed that the measuring cell is attached to a measuring instrument in a right direction, and also to provide a measuring instrument, and a measuring cell attachment judgement method using them.

SOLUTION: The measuring cell is equipped with: a hollow substrate 100 having four walls; the sample holding part 103 provided in the substrate 100 to hold the sample; the sample supply port 104 provided to the substrate 100 to communicate with the sample holding part 103; the light incident part 101 provided to the first wall 121 among four walls to throw incident light into the inside of the sample holding part 103 from the outside; the light emitting part 102 provided to the second wall 122 adjacent to the first wall 121 to emit light to the outside of the sample holding part 103 from the inside of the sample holding part 103; the electrode 110 provided to the outer surface of the third wall 123 opposed to the second wall 122; and the shading part 112 provided between the end part of the substrate 100 and the light incident part 101 in the first wall 121.
