<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform patrol work that is performed using a personal digital assistance. <P>SOLUTION: The personal digital assistance 200 stores character strings corresponding to a plurality of patrol items for the patrol work, and displays on a display device 216 a screen showing the character strings corresponding to the respective patrol items, each arranged to be displayed in a line; for the character string which cannot be entirely displayed in a line on the display device 216, only a portion of the character string is displayed so that it is displayed as a line on the display device 216.
