PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size and cost of a mode-locked laser device. SOLUTION: The mode-locked laser device 10 comprises a resonator 11, a mode synchronizing element 3 arranged inside the resonator 11, a solid-state laser medium 4 arranged inside the resonator 11, and an exciting means 12 for making excitation light Le incident into the solid-state laser medium 4.
