PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring a bonding force between a carbon nanotube array and a substrate. SOLUTION: The method for measuring the bonding force between the carbon nanotube array and the substrate comprises: a step of preparing a milli-Newton scaler equipped with a probe and an arm; a step of applying an adhesive compound to the surface of an edge part of the probe uniformly; a step of bringing the probe to gradually come close to the carbon nanotube array and contacting the surface of the probe coated with the adhesive compound, with the carbon nanotube array; a step of extracting a portion of the carbon nanotube array as a sample by moving the probe; and a step of calculating a bonding force between the sample and the substrate from the weight of the sample and the carbon nanotube content in the sample.
